There are two admission windows in an academic year in which you can apply for admission to study in New Zealand. These dates are tentative and may vary depending on the university.
- Major Intakes- February and July
- Minor Intakes- April, September and November
Students planning to study and apply for scholarships in New Zealand must start the application process 8-12 months prior to the planned intake to ensure proper documentation, editing, precise statements and adequately completing all application steps based on the requirements of the university. Scholarship deadlines may be different for different institutions.

Few scholarships to study in New Zealand
Commonwealth scholarship: offered by Official Development Assistance (ODA) programme of New Zealand government for master or doctoral level full time studies.
New Zealand International Doctoral Research Scholarships (NZIDRS): given by the NZ Government for full time doctoral studies. It is for 3 years and covers tuition fee and other costs.
New Zealand International Undergraduate Fees Scholarship (NZIUFS): given by New Zealand government for select full time undergraduate course (3 years). This scholarship is merit-based and covers only undergraduate tuition fee.
Christchurch Educated Skills Scholarships: for PG level in specific disciplines in Christchurch approved institutions.
